Michael Strople is President of Allstream Business Inc. He is also Managing Director - Canada, Zayo Group and Chairman, MEF. Zayo, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, builds and operates communications infrastructure including fiber optic systems and data centers to provide enormous bandwidth that drives the global economy.

Zayo serves the world’s leading carriers and Fortune 500 businesses.

Mr. Strople has twenty-five years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He joined MTS Allstream in October 2005 and since then has served as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President. Zayo acquired Allstream in January 2016.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He is currently Chair of the MEF Forum and was a member of the board of directors of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, one of the world's largest single distributors and retailers of beverage alcohol.
