Transportation Options
Los Angeles traffic can be a challenge. The Hotel is approximately 40 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: LAX Transportation Delays
Starting on 29 October, all Uber pickups at LAX, except for Uber Black and Uber Black SUV, will occur at LAX-it.
If not requesting Uber Black or Uber Black SUV:
Take an LAX-it Shuttle on the arrivals (lower) level curbside. They are expected to come every 5 minutes, and travel time to LAX-it is typically 15 minutes or less. You can also walk from Terminals 1, 2, 7, and 8. For more information, click here.
How pickups work for riders
UberX pickups between 8am and midnight will use the new PIN system:
- Request an UberX trip to receive a 6-digit personal identification number (PIN).
- Once in LAX-it, walk to the UberX PIN pickup zone on either curb 3 or 4, and join the line.
- Share your unique PIN with the first available driver.
- Verify vehicle and driver details before you get into the vehicle.
Pickups for other ways to ride with Uber, or for UberX from midnight to 8am, may be requested normally.
Reminder about Curbside Pickups
If you prefer a more convenient curbside pickup, simply request an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV trip. Then head to your selected pickup point on the outer island curb on the downstairs arrivals level for your pickup.
Shared-Ride Shuttle
Please be aware that Shared-Ride shuttles stop at several other hotels before arriving at the JW Marriott which take additional time depending on the number of hotel stops. Reservations are required, please visit https://www.supershuttle.com. Shuttle One-way fare: $17.00 USD
