Fernanda Mendez is Head of Service Management and Orchestration for Solution area OSS. In this role, she has P&L responsibility for products and services in these businesses and is responsible for strategic direction, product management, product positioning and new product introduction.

Mendez is a telecommunications expert with 20 years of experience in research, development, product management, and sales. She has been with Ericsson 12 years holding senior positions in strategy, global business development, and product management in the areas of IT, OSS, network management, orchestration, NFV, SDN, cloud, SDWAN, mobile backhaul, and broadband access.

She holds a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from The City University of New York in fiber optic transport technologies.
