Dr. John Strassner leads the Intent, Policy Driven Orchestration, and MEF Core Model work within MEF. He currently is the CTO and VP of Network Strategy at Futurewei. Prteviously, he was a past VP and Fellow of Motorola and Cisco and the CSO of a startup (IntelliDEN). He is also a tenured professor in computer science. John's interests include autonomic technologies, policy-based management and orchestration, software architecture, information and data modeling, and distributed systems. John has over 340 refereed conference and journal publications, and over 65 granted and filed patents.
