Chris Liou is Vice President of Product Management at Silver Peak, where he focuses on defining and delivering comprehensive service provider SD-WAN solutions to market. Prior to joining Silver Peak, Chris served in the role of VP Network Strategy at Infinera, where he led the company’s Transport SDN initiatives and drove optical networking product strategies for service, content and network providers.  He also served as VP Product Management at Infinera, where he led the company’s product planning and technical marketing organizations.  Chris’s prior industry experience also includes product management leadership roles at Ciena, where he led the optical switching product management organization, and product management roles at Cisco, where he focused on delivering network and service management solutions. Chris began his career with senior software and systems engineering roles at Hewlett-Packard and Telcordia, where he designed and developed distributed computing platforms for telecom applications.  Chris received his B.S.E in Electrical Engineering and certificate in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University.
