Principal Architect, Amartus

Bartosz Michalik is a Principal Architect at Amartus and recognized as MEF top contributor and MEF professional of the Year. Bartosz graduated in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology in 2006 and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Architecture from Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven.

Prior to joining Amartus, Bartosz held a number of software engineering and architect positions. He has more than ten years of experience in the software development and consulting industry. Currently, Bartosz mainly focuses on building technical expertise around software-centric networks, network virtualization, open-source networking, and MEF standardization and APIs.

Bartosz is a keen supporter of open development initiatives and community collaboration. He’s co-leads two other operations by the Forum: OpenCS Packet WAN and LSO Presto SDK and was the leader of the MEF LSO Presto Hackathon project. He’s also a contributor to the Open Daylight UniMgr project.
