Stephen Collins serves as ONUG Working Group CTO. The ONUG working groups bring together a community of enterprise users, suppliers and solutions integrators to collaborate on the development of use case requirements and open, multi-vendor reference solutions that address the critical challenges of migrating enterprise IT from private data centers and wide area networks to hybrid multi-cloud environments encompassing SaaS applications, public cloud services, the Internet and SD-WANs.

Stephen is principal consultant at 1024tm and helps technology-driven companies plan and execute business, technology and go-to-market strategies. He has nearly four decades of experience in networking and telecommunications infrastructure, working with startups, emerging growth companies and industry leaders across many segments of the enterprise and service provider markets, 

Stephen has served in a wide range of executive, managerial, engineering, consulting, analyst and advisory roles, and has a successful track record introducing new products and solutions into rapidly evolving markets. Most recently, he was an industry analyst affiliated with ACG Research, spearheading the firm's research track in network visibility and analytics.

Stephen is an active blogger, frequent speaker at industry conferences and has authored numerous articles for trade publications. He holds an M.S. in Computer, Information and Control engineering from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
